Prayer vigils were held in Sumner County as the search for missing 15-year-old Sebastian Wayne Drake Rogers entered its fourth day. Sebastian went missing from his Hendersonville home on Monday, prompting the issuance of a statewide Amber Alert by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
Despite the public’s interest, Sebastian’s family has chosen not to speak to the media at this time. The community has come together to pray for Sebastian’s safe return, with Sumner County Mayor John Isbell emphasizing the importance of faith during this difficult time.
Search efforts have yielded few leads, and officials are concerned about the inclement weather conditions. Sebastian, who is autistic, was last seen in Hendersonville wearing a black sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and glasses.
Multiple prayer vigils have been held in different locations, including Gallatin’s NorthField Church and Legacy Park at Long Hollow Church. Community members are encouraged to report any information about Sebastian’s whereabouts to the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office or Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
Despite the challenges faced by search teams, there is hope that Sebastian will be found safe and sound. The community’s support and prayers are crucial in the search for the missing teenager.
