In the game against Saint Francis, Chattanooga shut out their opponents with a final score of 5-0. The Mocs had a strong offensive performance with a total of five runs on 16 hits, including two home runs and two doubles. In the second game of the day against Central Arkansas, Chattanooga faced a tougher challenge with lead changes and ties throughout the game. Ultimately, the Mocs secured a narrow 5-4 victory, thanks to clutch hits from players like Anna Dovey and Kendall Forsythe. Pitcher Taylor Long played a key role in the win, striking out seven batters and allowing only one hit.
