Former White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham revealed in her new book, “American Woman: The Transformation of the Modern First Lady, from Hillary Clinton to Jill Biden,” that Melania Trump was allegedly furious with Donald Trump over his sex scandal with Stormy Daniels. Grisham claimed that Melania backed out of an overseas trip intentionally to embarrass her husband amid the controversy. Melania was reportedly angry and wanted to communicate her feelings to the president.
Daniels had accused Donald of paying her $130,000 in hush money to keep their alleged extramarital affair a secret. Despite Donald dismissing the allegations as an extortion plot, his attorney Michael Cohen pleaded guilty to violating federal campaign laws and was sentenced to three years in prison.
Melania’s former friend and close advisor, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, leaked audio of Melania speaking negatively about Daniels. Wolkoff claimed that Melania lives in “an ivory tower of denial” and hoped the scandal would be swept under the carpet. Melania has not publicly expressed her feelings about her husband’s alleged affairs, and her way of coping is to never show her emotions.
Despite the controversies, Melania and Donald were recently seen displaying a united front at her mother’s funeral. Melania is reportedly planning to step up her public appearances ahead of the 2024 elections to ensure her husband’s chances of becoming president again. Melania has not commented publicly on the claims made in Grisham’s book or the ongoing scandal with Daniels.
