Search for missing autistic teen leads Tennessee police to Kentucky landfill

Tennessee police, along with Kentucky State Police, are searching a landfill in Kentucky in connection with the disappearance of 15-year-old autistic boy Sebastian Rogers, who has been missing since February 26. The search, which is described as a precautionary measure to eliminate possible options and questions, comes after investigators traced trash from Sebastian’s neighborhood to the landfill. Rogers was last seen in Hendersonville, Tennessee, and the search has covered over 2,000 miles involving multiple agencies and volunteers. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has released additional photos of Sebastian to aid in the search efforts.

Authorities have been seen at the family home of Sebastian, who lives in a suburb of Nashville, but no suspects have been named and the family is cooperating with the investigation. The bureau is urging anyone with information to contact them at 1-800-TBI-FIND. In a separate incident, an illegal immigrant was apprehended in Virginia after abducting a teen in Ohio and taking her hundreds of miles from home. The search for Sebastian Rogers continues as law enforcement agencies work to bring him home safely.
