The Upper Austria Judo Grand Prix was in full swing on day two in the beautiful city of Linz. Top judoka from around the world gathered to compete for glory, with the local fans cheering on their heroes.
Joanne Van Lieshout impressed at -63kg, securing her second Grand Prix gold medal with a dominant performance. Adil Osmanov took home gold at -73kg, showcasing judo values in his tough match against Rashid Mammadaliyev.
Maria Perez claimed victory in the -70kg category with a perfectly timed footsweep, much to the delight of the crowd. Antonio Esposito produced an incredible buzzer beater to stun Pawel Drzymal and win gold in the -81kg category.
The event also honored Franz Haugeneder for his contributions to judo, and featured awards presented by IJF Co-ordinator Juan Carlos Barcos, IJF Director Mohammed Meridja, and Harvest Group CEO Almaz Alsenov.
