The Lakeland Elementary PTA successfully raised over $50,000 during their 16th annual auction, themed “Mardi Gras Masquerade.” The event, attended by over 300 individuals, was held at Shelby Farm’s FedEx Event Center on February 24th. Guests enjoyed a New Orleans-inspired dinner catered by Humdingers, live music from a jazz band, and had the opportunity to bid on exciting items during the live auction led by auctioneer Gene Yoder. Local businesses and sponsors, including Voodoo Café and Campbell Clinic, played a crucial role in the success of the event. The strong community support and spirit displayed at the auction demonstrated the generosity and unity within the Lakeland community.
