The Habitat for Humanity ReStore of Wilson County is making a comeback after nearly four years of being closed. The new store, located at the old Lebanon Outlet Mall, is 10 times the size of its previous location and will offer a wider variety of home building materials, furnishings, lighting, appliances, paint, and more. This expansion allows the store to provide a better shopping experience for customers.
The profits from the ReStore go towards building more homes for Habitat for Humanity, which has already built 94 homes in Wilson County since 2003. The nonprofit is currently seeking staff and volunteers for the new store and is excited to be able to provide affordable homeownership opportunities for Middle Tennesseans.
The Wilson County ReStore is set to open within the next two months and is currently accepting donations. Habitat for Humanity’s Dickson County ReStore has also recently expanded its space by 10,000 square feet to accommodate more products and services. Overall, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville is making strides in providing affordable housing options for communities in need. Potential staff, volunteers, and shoppers can find more information on the Habitat for Humanity website.
