Cracker Barrel’s Inaugural Antique Restaurant Décor Yard Sale Sells Out in Just Half an Hour

Cracker Barrel in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee recently held a unique yard sale to clear out old décor items as part of a major renovation. With 600 to 700 pieces on offer, the sale attracted a crowd eager to take home a piece of the restaurant’s iconic antique décor. Within just 30 minutes, all but seven items were sold, prompting the possibility of future sales as the store continues to remodel.

Shoppers traveled from miles away to attend the sale, with some, like Rhonda Winton, finding unexpected treasures that stirred up fond memories. Winton purchased an old saw that reminded her of her childhood and her father’s logging business.

Joe Stewart, manager of the Décor Warehouse for Cracker Barrel, was pleased with the success of the sale and hinted at the possibility of similar events in the future. This was the first time Cracker Barrel has sold off its antique items in this manner, and the response from customers was overwhelmingly positive.

The unique yard sale at Cracker Barrel in Mt. Juliet proved to be a win-win for both the store and its customers, with the possibility of more sales to come as the chain continues to update its locations.
