Prince Harry is gearing up to return to the UK to host his Invictus gaming event, with rumors swirling about whether Meghan Markle will join him on the trip. The Duke of Sussex has expressed a desire to reunite with his family, particularly his father King Charles, who is battling cancer. However, royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams has issued a stern warning to Markle should she decide to visit the UK.
Fitzwilliams cautioned that if Markle were to visit, there would likely be a significant amount of negative publicity due to her past actions. While security concerns were initially cited as the reason for declining an invitation from Prince William and Kate Middleton to bring their children along, Fitzwilliams believes that security may now be used as an excuse not to make the trip.
Earlier this year, Harry lost a court case against the UK Home Office regarding a downgrade in his security classification, a decision made due to him no longer being a working royal. This, along with other factors, may hinder Markle’s decision to visit the UK.
The couple recently appeared relaxed at an event organized by their charity, The Archewell Foundation, while Prince and Princess of Wales have taken a break from royal duties to focus on family after Kate was diagnosed with cancer. The overall message suggests that Markle may face scrutiny if she does decide to join Harry on his trip to the UK.
