Nashville’s Catio Reopens with Special Celebration, Spotlighting Senior Cats

The Catio and the Senior Catio in Nashville have come together under one roof, creating a space where animal lovers can visit and interact with cats of all ages. The grand reopening and ribbon cutting event took place on April 6 at the new location on Music Valley Drive. Previously, the Senior Catio faced challenges when its original location was no longer available due to legal issues with the landlord. However, through a successful GoFundMe campaign that raised over $25,000, the Catio was able to find a new space for both organizations to operate. The event featured free admission and the opportunity to adopt a new furry friend. The Catio is now accepting visitors and donations at its new location, offering a space for the community to connect with cats and possibly find a new pet to bring home. For those who missed the grand reopening, booking a visit or making a donation is still possible through their website. The Catio and Senior Catio have overcome challenges to continue their mission of helping cats find forever homes in Nashville.
