The infamous Oompa Loompas, including the meme-worthy Kirsty Paterson, will be participating in the event with exclusive Q&A sessions. Tickets for the event are priced at $44 and the proceeds will be donated to a mental health charity. Attendees can expect a night filled with laughter, unexpected twists, and enchanting attractions, including music and comedy performances, a silent film screening, and local vendors selling sweets. The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. on April 28 and will transition into “Willy’s Rave” with a DJ keeping the energy going until 4 a.m. The previous Willy Wonka event in Scotland was dubbed a “fiasco” after attendees, many of whom were children, were left disappointed and enraged. The event organizers apologized for the mishap, acknowledging last-minute letdowns that led to a lackluster experience for attendees.
