Jelly Roll makes a comeback at Antioch High School

Country music star and Antioch native Jelly Roll, also known as Jason DeFord, recently visited his alma mater, Antioch High School. Jelly Roll has a history of giving back to his community, so his return to Antioch to visit Robert “Rock” Kennedy’s music tech class came as no surprise. During his visit, Jelly Roll provided feedback on the students’ compositions and even performed for a student assembly. He also spoke about his own experiences and encouraged the students to persevere in the face of adversity.

Jelly Roll’s visit was sponsored by Save the Music, an organization with which he collaborates regularly. Known for his charitable efforts, Jelly Roll is dedicated to giving back to the youth of Nashville, including fundraising for a recording studio within the Davidson County Juvenile Detention Center. His visit to Antioch High School was yet another example of his commitment to supporting and inspiring the next generation of musicians.

Jelly Roll’s story of resilience and success serves as a source of inspiration for the students he spoke to. His message to them was clear: they can overcome challenges and achieve their dreams with determination and hard work. By sharing his story and giving back to his community, Jelly Roll continues to make a positive impact on those around him.
