Augustine School’s Spring Soiree Takes Center Stage

The Augustine School in Jackson, Tennessee hosted their annual Spring Soiree, the largest fundraiser of the year. The event aimed to raise money for capital projects, with a focus on building a natural playground for the students. This playground would feature elements like logs and hills, providing a unique and holistic approach to education.

The fundraiser included a silent auction with items such as gift bags and vouchers for local eateries, as well as a live auction with comedian Jaron Myers entertaining the audience. Attendees included families, faculty, staff, and community members who support the school’s mission.

One of the event sponsors, Leaders Credit Union, generously purchased tickets for teachers to attend. The evening was filled with food, drinks, and laughter, as participants came together to support the school and its initiatives.

Director of Development, Bailey Bell, emphasized the school’s classical approach to education, which focuses on the whole child and recognizes the importance of play in a child’s development. The event was a success, bringing the community together and raising funds for a worthwhile cause.
