I had no choice but to leave him

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani has faced consequences for spreading false claims about the 2020 presidential election. His radio show on WABC Radio has been canceled and he has been suspended over his refusal to comply with the station’s directive not to discuss the election. Giuliani alleges that this directive violates his free speech rights and comes at a suspicious time, just months before the 2024 election.

Giuliani has been a key figure in promoting baseless fraud claims about the 2020 election, which led to a jury ordering him to pay $148 million to former Georgia election workers. Following this, he filed for bankruptcy, and is now struggling to find accounting assistance for his case.

WABC Radio owner John Catsimatidis said Giuliani was warned multiple times to stop discussing the election, but his refusal left the station with no option but to suspend him. This move by the station comes amidst pressure from Dominion Voting Systems and the legal team of the Biden regime. Giuliani has been a vocal supporter of former President Trump and his claims of election fraud.

Giuliani’s suspension and the cancellation of his radio show mark the latest in a series of financial and professional setbacks for the former mayor. The Hill has reached out to WABC Radio for further comment on the situation.
