The Chattanooga Mocs are gearing up to compete in the NCAA Rancho Santa Fe Regionals this week. As one of 14 teams and five individuals participating in the tournament at the Farms Golf Club, the Mocs are seeking to secure a top 5 finish to advance to the championship week at the Omni La Costa Spa & Resort. With the team’s experience and focus on discipline and control, Coach Blaine Woodruff is confident in their ability to perform well in the competition.
Led by players like Garrett Engle, John Houk, Samuel Espinosa, Paul Conroy, and Braedon Wear, the Mocs are determined to become the first squad to make back-to-back finals appearances. With the team ranked 38th nationally and players like Houk standing out as top-rated competitors, the Mocs are aiming to build on their previous successes in postseason play.
The NCAA Rancho Santa Fe Regionals will feature tough competition from schools like Arizona State, Washington, and Oklahoma. However, with the Mocs’ strong performance during the season, including setting records for under-par scores and stroke averages, they are ready to take on the challenge.
