Wactor’s mother shared that he was leaving work at a rooftop bar when he confronted the thieves, who then shot him. Despite being rushed to the hospital, he was pronounced dead. The suspects are still at large, leaving his family devastated. Wactor had a successful career in television, appearing in shows like “Hollywood Girl,” “Criminal Minds,” and “Westworld,” as well as in feature films like “USS Indianapolis: Men of Courage.” He also worked on various short films throughout his career. He is survived by his mother and brothers, and his family is planning to bring him back to South Carolina for funeral services. His mother expressed her hope for justice for her son and emphasized his positive, optimistic spirit and the impact he had on those around him. Wactor’s tragic death has shocked his loved ones and the entertainment industry, leaving a void that will be difficult to fill.
