In a whirlwind day of college baseball action in SEC territory, two of the highest-seeded teams faced off in super regional games. No. 1 Tennessee took on Evansville in Knoxville in the morning, while No. 2 Kentucky played against Oregon State in Lexington in the evening. Both looking to secure a spot in Omaha, the scene was set for an exciting day of baseball.

Tennessee got off to a strong start, hitting three home runs in the first 10 minutes of the game, taking an early lead. However, Evansville staged a remarkable comeback, scoring 10 runs in three innings to take the lead. Despite Tennessee’s efforts, they were unable to close the gap, ultimately falling to Evansville.

Meanwhile, Kentucky faced off against Oregon State in their first-ever super regional game in Lexington.
