Six months after a deadly tornado outbreak in Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky, residents are still recovering from the aftermath. Seven people lost their lives in Nashville, including a husband, wife, and their two-year-old child. Residents like Bonnie Hux are working with FEMA for assistance, currently sleeping outside in a truck bed with their dogs. Jennifer Hartman and her family are also dealing with property damage, with a barn destroyed but miraculously, a family Bible surviving the storm. The community reflects on the tragedy and the resilience needed to rebuild. In total, eight tornadoes hit the region, leaving behind a trail of destruction. As residents continue to recover and rebuild, the community is grateful for the support and strength shown in the face of adversity.
