Kevin Spacey recently hinted on an episode of “Piers Morgan Uncensored” that King Charles III had sent him a message of support during the actor’s various sex scandals. Spacey praised the king for his work with the Prince’s Trust charity, and implied that he had received indirect messages of support from the monarch. Spacey admitted that he had written a letter to Charles, but had not sent it.
Spacey’s career took a nosedive in 2017 when actor Anthony Rapp accused him of sexual misconduct. Since then, more than a dozen men have come forward with similar accusations against Spacey. Despite the allegations, Spacey was found not liable in court and denied the claims.
The actor was also charged with four counts of sexual assault in the UK stemming from incidents between 2005 and 2013 while he was working at the Old Vic theater. Additional charges were added from incidents between 2001 and 2004. Spacey was ultimately found not guilty by a jury in July 2023.
The actor has faced numerous legal battles and career backlash following the sexual misconduct allegations against him. While he has denied the claims, Spacey’s reputation has been tarnished in Hollywood. The support he received from King Charles III in the midst of these scandals adds another layer to the controversial actor’s story.
