Local community members in Williamson County are coming together to support and appreciate educators, as well as celebrate achievements and milestones throughout the area. The County Director of Schools, Jason Golden, along with County Mayor Rogers Anderson and other officials, have recognized the value of teachers by approving a 6% raise for Williamson County Schools staff. This decision was made despite budget cuts from the State of Tennessee, showing a strong commitment to education.

In addition to this, Karen Caldwell has been welcomed as the new Principal at Bethesda Elementary School, bringing 30 years of experience to the role. Author Rick Warwick has also completed a new book about Williamson Countians, with a presentation scheduled for June 29 at the Burwood Community Center.

Community events, such as Ice Cream Socials and baseball tryouts, are being planned for residents to enjoy. VBS dates at local churches and upcoming festivals in July and August are being announced. The community is also rallying together to support neighbors in need of prayers, including those facing health challenges and the families of those who have passed away.

Overall, the community in Williamson County is coming together to celebrate achievements, support educators, and take care of one another during challenging times. Citizens are encouraged to participate in upcoming events and continue to offer prayers and support for those in need.
