Neil Young and Crazy Horse have canceled their first tour in over a decade due to band members falling ill. The decision to stop touring was made after some band members got sick following a performance in Detroit. The canceled North American shows will hopefully be rescheduled in the future when the band has fully recovered.
The band expressed their regret for having to cancel the shows and apologized for any inconvenience to fans who had made travel plans. They emphasized the importance of health and indicated their desire to continue performing and making music for their fans. The Love Earth Tour had already been a positive experience for the band, with great audiences and music.
In addition to canceling their upcoming shows in Canada, Neil Young and Crazy Horse are also not headlining the Ohana Festival in Southern California and the Bourbon & Beyond Festival in Kentucky. The status of their Hollywood Bowl date in September is unclear, as the event page has been taken down.
The tour, which began in April and featured a nine-track record release, had to be postponed in late May due to illness among the band members. Despite these setbacks, Neil Young and Crazy Horse remain hopeful that they will be able to resume their tour and bring their music to fans in the future.
