Owners can check the USA TODAY or NHTSA databases for recalls on their vehicles. BMW dealers will inspect and replace the water pump and plug connector and install a protective shield for free. Recall notification letters will be sent on Oct. 4.
For the Tesla roof trim separation recall, Tesla service will test and reattach the trim pieces for free, with recall notification letters to be sent on Oct. 14. Owners can contact Tesla customer service for more information. It is essential for owners of the affected vehicles to respond promptly to the recall notices to ensure their safety and the proper functioning of their vehicles.
