East Tennessee Eateries to Host Thanksgiving Events

Several bars and restaurants in East Tennessee kept their doors open on Thanksgiving to provide a place for anyone who needed somewhere to go. The Road House Lounge in Sevierville, for example, offered a free Thanksgiving meal, games, and a welcoming atmosphere for those looking for company on the holiday. Owner Jarrod Hargrave said the goal was to spread love and create a sense of belonging within the community.

Similarly, ‘Tha Gap’ in Greene County also provided free meals and hosted a pool tournament to make Thanksgiving special for everyone. Owner Shawn Johnson emphasized the importance of giving back to the community, especially after recent flooding in the area. He called for continued unity and love among people, regardless of their differences.

These acts of kindness and generosity exemplify the true spirit of Thanksgiving and the importance of coming together to support one another. As the holiday season continues, it’s clear that spreading love and helping those in need should be a priority for everyone.
