Week 1 Matchup: Titans vs. Bears – Examining Tennessee’s Main Worries

The Tennessee Titans will kick off their 2024 season on the road against the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field this Sunday. After a disappointing 2023 season that saw the team finish with a 6-11 record and fire head coach Mike Vrabel, the Titans are looking for a fresh start under new head coach Brian Callahan.

The Titans will face a tough challenge in Week 1, as they will be up against a talented Bears team that made significant roster changes, including drafting quarterback Caleb Williams with the No.1 overall pick. The Titans will have over ten new starters on offense and defense and will need to be prepared to face the Bears’ revamped receiving corps, led by DJ Moore, Keenan Allen, and Rome Odunze.

In addition to facing a strong Bears offense, the Titans will need to address concerns on their own offense, particularly on the right side of their offensive line. Despite making improvements in the offseason, questions remain about the right side of the line, with Dillon Radunz moving to right guard and Nicholas Petit-Frere at right tackle.

Furthermore, the Titans may experience some growing pains on offense as they adjust to a new coaching staff and numerous new faces. However, they are confident in their experienced and diverse wide receiver corps and quarterback Will Levis.

Overall, the Titans will need to be sharp in all areas of the game to secure a win against the Bears in Week 1, but with a new coach and roster changes, they are optimistic about their chances for a successful 2024 season.
