NFL insider foresees Titans moving on from Will Levis in favor of a breakout quarterback

Despite high hopes for quarterback Will Levis to be the long-term answer for the Tennessee Titans, his poor performance in 2024 has left the team considering other options for the 2025 offseason. Currently sitting at No. 3 in the 2025 NFL Draft order, the Titans have the opportunity to select a new quarterback. However, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler predicts that the team will bring in Sam Darnold from the Minnesota Vikings as a bridge quarterback.

While Darnold has had a standout season with the Vikings, leading them to a 7-2 record and being mentioned in MVP conversations, some believe the Titans should focus on drafting a young quarterback and building around them. Darnold’s potential high price tag as a free agent could complicate Tennessee’s rebuild plans if they choose to sign him.

Despite Darnold’s resurgence in Minnesota, the Titans may look to avoid relying on a veteran quarterback and instead prioritize developing a young QB to build a team around. With Levis struggling and the Titans in need of a long-term solution at quarterback, the team will have to carefully consider their options to ensure long-term success on the field.
