Titans considered as potential landing spot for $160 million quarterback

The Tennessee Titans are having a rough 2024 season, with a 2-8 record making them one of the worst teams in the NFL. The team has struggled with quarterback play, with Will Levis facing issues with turnovers and erratic plays. Backup quarterback Mason Rudolph didn’t make much of an impact when he filled in for Levis due to injury. The Titans may be looking to the 2025 NFL Draft for a solution, with a top-three selection likely in their future.

ESPN’s Ben Solak has suggested that the Titans should consider acquiring former New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones as a potential solution. Despite Jones’ struggles with accuracy and ball security, he may still have talent to offer. However, some argue that Jones’ flaws are similar to Levis’, and with Rudolph as a capable backup, acquiring Jones may not be the best move for the Titans.

Jones was recently released by the Giants after a disappointing season, where he had been benched and dropped to QB4 on the depth chart. While there may be some potential benefits to signing Jones, such as a compensatory draft pick, overall it may not be the best move for Tennessee.

The Titans are set to face the Houston Texans in Week 12, still searching for a solution to their quarterback struggles as they try to turn their season around.
