TN Cybercrime Police to Organize Hackathon in Chennai


The Tamil Nadu cybercrime wing police have announced a hackathon to be held at Panimalar Engineering College in Poonamallee on Feb 5. The event is open to students and professionals and aims to assess participants’ skills in the cyber domain. The hackathon will feature five categories, including DarkEye for intelligent surveillance on the dark web, TorUnveil for deanonymizing tor mail, VoIPCrack for VoIP call interception, Telegram Sentinel for monitoring telegram channels, and AdShield for identifying cyber scams in social media targeted advertisements.

Participants are required to submit abstracts, and the first prize winners in each category will receive ₹1 lakh, while the second and third prize winners will receive ₹75,000 and ₹50,000, respectively. Shortlisted teams will have the opportunity to compete in the grand finale. Registration for the hackathon can be done via the provided links.
