Famed celebrity bounty hunter, Duane “Dog” Chapman, has increased the reward for information on the whereabouts of missing Tennessee teen, Summer Wells. The 5-year-old girl disappeared from her home in Hawkins County on June 15, 2021, sparking a massive search effort that has yet to yield any significant leads.
Chapman, known for his successful hunts on his reality TV show, has increased the reward to $10,000 after receiving what he calls “critical” leads in the case. He believes that with the increased reward, more people will come forward with valuable information that could lead to Summer’s safe return.
The search for Summer has captivated the nation, with volunteers, law enforcement agencies, and now celebrity figures all working tirelessly to find her. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has received over 700 tips in connection to the case, but so far, none have led to Summer’s whereabouts.
Despite the challenges of finding a missing child in a rural area, Chapman remains hopeful and determined to bring Summer home. He has pledged to do whatever it takes to help find her, even offering to fly his team to Tennessee to aid in the search efforts.
