The University of Missouri university student, Riley Strain, who went missing after being kicked out of a downtown Nashville bar two weeks ago, has been found dead in the Cumberland River, police confirmed. Strain, 22, was on a weekend trip to Nashville when he disappeared. Police Chief John Drake stated that there were no signs of foul play and it appears that Strain fell into the river. The body was discovered by a worker in the area and identified by the medical examiner’s office. An autopsy is pending. Strain’s friends and family had been searching for him after he went missing. The body was found about 8 miles from downtown Nashville. This is an ongoing investigation and more updates are expected.
