Tormenta defeats Chattanooga with a dominant 4-0 victory

South Georgia Tormenta secured a much-needed win over the Chattanooga Red Wolves on Saturday night with a 4-0 victory. Sebastian Vivas scored two goals and assisted on another, leading Tormenta to an impressive performance after a string of winless matches. Manager Ian Cameron praised his team’s response after a tough week and emphasized the importance of the win for the players and fans.

The game saw Tormenta take an early lead through Aaron Lombardi’s pass to Vivas, who scored the first goal. Tormenta extended their lead in the second half with goals from Ajmeer Spengler and Niall Watson, before Vivas added his second goal to complete the scoring. Cameron highlighted Spengler’s impact in his debut season and praised Vivas for his dedication and hard work.

Despite the offensive outburst, Tormenta’s defense, led by goalkeeper Ford Parker, kept Chattanooga at bay with only four shots on target. The team also coped well without key defender Jake Dengler, with Preston Kilwien and Callum Stretch stepping in seamlessly.

Cameron emphasized the need for consistency and improvement, especially for the young players in the team. Tormenta’s next challenge will be against Richmond in the Jagermeister Cup. Overall, the team’s strong performance against Chattanooga bodes well for their playoff aspirations as they seek to build on this important win.
