Country music star Morgan Wallen’s downtown Nashville bar opening has been postponed. The establishment, called This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen, was set to open on Memorial Day weekend at 107 4th Ave. N. However, TC Restaurant Group, the organization behind the bar, has not provided a new opening date. The delay is due to the complex process of preparing the six-story venue with hundreds of team members to ensure an exceptional experience for guests.
Reports suggest that final inspections are pending for the restaurant/bar while there are rumors that the TC Restaurant Group may have been denied a catering license. However, the postponement is not related to the rejection by the Nashville Metro Council of an external sign for the bar, citing Wallen’s past controversial incidents.
Wallen announced the bar’s opening during one of his Nashville shows in May, targeting Memorial Day weekend but did not specify an exact date. The bar’s official Instagram account has since removed the announcement video and updated its posts to indicate a summer 2024 opening.
Wallen’s representative has directed inquiries to the TC Restaurant Group, the organization collaborating with the country singer on the bar project. Fans will have to wait a little longer for the highly anticipated opening of Morgan Wallen’s This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen in downtown Nashville.
