Numerous attendees anticipate Knoxville’s Festival on the 4th

The Festival on the 4th returned to Knoxville, Tennessee, bringing large crowds and high temperatures. The event offered a variety of food options, including ice cream, shaved ice, hot dogs, and kettle corn. Attendees could also enjoy the opportunity to cool off in the lazy river around the SunSphere and participate in water wars, a water balloon game. Live music and fireworks were also part of the festivities. Organizers made sure to provide water stations and free bottled water to keep attendees hydrated in the extreme heat. Scruffy City Hot Dogs was among the vendors at the festival, hoping for a successful sales season. While the exact number of attendees was difficult to assess, organizers anticipated thousands would visit the event. Kyndra Brewer, special events director for the City of Knoxville, encouraged everyone to come out, enjoy the food and activities, and have a good time at the festival.
