Despite a rough start, the nation’s No. 1 team showed resilience and determination as they battled back from a 3-2 deficit to score four runs in the sixth inning. Catcher Cal Starks stood out with two home runs over the past two days, contributing to the team’s impressive offensive performance.
Head coach Tony Vitello and the Vols are now headed to the Super Regionals after dominating the competition in the Knoxville Regional tournament.
