Get the inside scoop on when Morgan Wallen’s bar will be opening in downtown Nashville

Morgan Wallen’s highly anticipated Nashville bar, “This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen,” will not be opening over Memorial Day weekend as originally planned. The delay was announced by TC Restaurant Group, the hospitality company behind the establishment. The statement did not provide a specific reason for the delay but emphasized the need for more time to ensure the venue provides an exceptional experience for guests.

The opening delay comes after Metro Nashville Council denied an aerial encroachment permit for a sign advertising the venue, citing Wallen’s past controversies, including the use of a racial slur and pending felony and misdemeanor charges. Despite the setbacks, Wallen’s bar is said to be a collaboration between the country music star and TC Restaurant Group, known for other successful ventures on Lower Broadway.

Once opened, “This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen” is set to feature three live music stages, six bars, an open-air rooftop, and a menu curated by Wallen himself. The venue will pay homage to Wallen’s East Tennessee roots through its interior design and Southern-inspired menu featuring family recipes.

Fans of Wallen and country music can expect to experience a piece of East Tennessee in Music City once the bar finally opens its doors, although the new opening date remains uncertain. The venue, located at 107 4th Avenue North in Nashville, promises to be a place for creating memories with friends and family while celebrating the unifying power of country music.
